I don't think making the game Pay to play is the way to go.
The anti-cheat should slowly take the upper hand and detect cheaters faster.
Cheating will always exist in game's and the only way to fight back is to report that user.
I also never meant that by creating a Paid Version that the Anti Cheat in the Free version was going to suffer.
But the reality is that the game is software, software has bugs and as long as people make mistakes in code, people can hack it.
So in this day and age, cheating will not be stopped 100%.
The idea of the Paid version, is that even with whatever remains of cheating in a free version, hopefully these people will not want to pay, that's all...
Oh and if I have to also say this, YES, having a Paid server isn't going to also wipe out the problem, but doing the best with the Anti Cheat, and then adding in a Paid Version, is just one more layer to hopefully deter the cheaters... 😉
