Game after game after game... potato teammates?!
Solo queuing is utterly pointless.
Every match I'm facing off against clanned up 20 bomb, 4k damage duos (+1 random) yet my teammates are routinely complete potatoes with <1 K/D, don't know how to dibs items, run headlong into enemies without pinging, and have no clue of item locations/good drop points in this (almost week old) KC event?!
If SBMM exists, how can this behaviour possibly be 'as intended'?!
Why are these potatoes being queued against 20 bomb players?
Why are squads comprised of 3 solo players being mixed with duos squads?
Why do so few have mics? and those that do, routinely utilize them in a toxic manner?
Why is Apex's mic bitrate so pathetically low that we're forced to use other chat clients?
I'd understand if I solo queued & was used to fill up a duo squad, but that simply isn't the case; I've not had a vaguely competent teammate in around a dozen games.
This is ruining my already withered belief in humanity, and strongly encouraging me to join the rest of my discord group, and give cod:warzone a try.
On the related note of the Apex community dying....
Why has the crappy Origin overlay invite system not been fixed yet?
In the occasional game where I do find 1 or 2 good teammates, I'll sometimes receive invites (I hear the chime)..... great!.... BUT I've disabled invite pop-ups because of all the times they've caused me to be pulled out of a game.
The broken invite system is preventing the creation & growth of friend groups; this is a HUGE issue for the long term survival of Apex.
FIX YOUR INVITE SYSTEM SO IT DOESN'T USE THE SHI**Y ORIGIN OVERLAY! (and when it's fixed, reset the related settings to their defaults, so those of us who've enacted the 'just disable it' workaround become aware of the fix).
