get one shotted, how is it possible
Yesterday very early game, i find a gold armour right upon landing. My teammates get attacked i go there, i get one shotted. It was early game so no krabers / mastiffs. Played with caustic which supposed to have fortified, take less damage. Which weapon can take out early game a caustic with gold armor in 1 shot? I don't get it. With full armor you are talking about 300 damage you should do, times 15% fortified = 345 damage in one shot. How can anyone do that, is that a glitch? I did not have any helmet since we just landed. Maybe it is possible? What do you think?
How do you even know you got one-shot in the first place since you obviously didnt check the death recap screen, which would have told you exactly all damage sources? It seems to me that you just got killed very quickly, which could have happened because you got hit by many ppl at the same time. Also, many people overestimate the protection of a purple/golden armor. The difference between a white and golden armor is literally just 3.5 ≈ 4 body shots from a R301, which takes 0.33 seconds to fire.
