This season will be a hilarious mess, I am master right now and the amount of high diamond and masterplayers that can’t hold their gun properly is disturbing. And this is just the beginning at the end of the season probably like 30% of the playerbase will be master
just quit this season is not worth to be playing, the ranked badges have 0 value because they are free to get.
On top of that there is nothing to really grind for.
my squad and me made Master quick and stopped playing after. There is nothing for us to play for, we can’t reach pred because we are not interested in grinding 8h per day,
on top of that are our lobbies a joke, the avg lobby we are in looks like this:
2-3 hightiersquads + us
16-17 clueless deersquads in headlights
We usually just w at everything we see like maniacs and it’s really weird since we have to actually skillcheck people on range now to actually predict if it’s one of the 2-3 hightier teams or not, and if they are we need to engage them smarter. Because they do exactly the same thing, just w at everything they see.
it’s to late they can’t fix this anymore, all they could do is reset the season.
There's more to skill than just being able to aim.
Players can ride their IQ in FPS games much higher than the average no-brain aim player because they actually think about what they're doing.
If you just run-and-gun it everywhere without any consideration, you're relying on everyone else being as equally good mechanically as you, and equally dumb as you with their decision making, and that's why you're at a peak where you feel no one can "hold a gun" properly.
Maybe you should learn to improve your decision making so you can climb higher, and be on par with people both intellectually and mechanically?
- @Stevoyd But it is stupid now that ranked does not include your skill in aim and ability to kill and now only consider how good you are at not doing combat. BUT, your hidden MMR only consider your skill in aiming and ability to kill. But guess what your matchmaking in rank is based on your MMR so what is the deal here?
Well the deal is that your rank only depicts your ability to stay alive within a hidden skillgroup...It doesn't just depict how well you can hide.
It also doesn't depict how well you can aim either.
It depicts the combination of both.
If you suck at aiming, you won't climb.
If you suck at making the right decisions, you won't climb.
If you're being smart about how you play, and take the right fights, then you'll climb.
It just simply doesn't promote being an ape and charging in to every single fight in the hopes of third-partying to steal kills anymore... and the more players realise they can't just do that and expect to climb, then the better tbh.
For example;
I've just came 3rd in a match as a solo because my two teammates decided that it was more important to loot out of zone, than to relocate for the zone. I strategically fought 1v3 and almost beat the team that outed me while solo from playing smart while the person that finished 2nd just hid. We lost that game because they weren't making the correct decisions, and that impacts my rank. Ultimately, it doesn't matter how good your aim is when you have no brains.
- @Stevoyd The old system did depict everything, strategic placement, good decisions, ability to aim and kill efficiently. You could choose your playstyle and see where it took you but in the end one skill can only carry so much before you end up getting stuck. You would need skill in all areas in order to win and climb.
Heck the difference between Gold and Plat in my opinion was massive. Gold was kill Horn* and rather okay aim but in Plat aim and good strategic placement was key. If you didnt have enough of either you would be tossed out into gold again.... bro people are getting master/pred with 0 kills, we know youre just an ea bot that is hoping to dull the backlash that this dumb decision has caused. this is the worst most crippling update since launch. if it werent for comp this game is dead
