Good God, how do you expect people to get through Gold with randoms? You give such low points in this league, you basically just break even unless you win. You get so many spanners in Gold on your team, it's torture!!! Have some consideration would you!!!
The ranks just reset compadre, stay strong, overtime the god players move so you have nicer chance of winning. Have patience.
At least in Silver you can move up pretty quickly, but in Gold you're stuck in purgatory with odd few decent team mates. You don't get enough points in Gold. I carried my team before to top 10... I got 1200+ damage, x2 respawns etc etc... I get a miserly 24 points... what a waste! It's demoralising.
kills>damage, they add up the rank points, Silver isn't easy either you're basically closer to the bottom of the barrel than in gold, like I said the season just started for ranked so you might be just impatient, stick to your plan or do something else, rank resets at start are hectic and lot of players want to get out of low ranks asap so they tryhard more, have patience compadre, just because climbing is slow doesn't mean it's not climbing: almost 50% of my games are +0 rank points or -12+ rank points in silver so if you get more points than you lose you're probably in way better situation than I am...
? Silver is easy. Gold is HELL. There is no need for Gold to be so hard to get through the ranks. I've played 12 games and I've gone DOWN!!!! It's bloody torture!

These threads literally makes no sense.. Truth is, that if you are stuck in Gold, then you are supposed to be in Gold, its just as simple as that. The match RP entry cost for gold is so low that you bascially just need to get 1 or 2 kills/assists and then just stay alive for like 10 minutes and you will have a stready gain... If you have problems with this, then you have no business in Platinum anyways. Same goes for all ranks. Last season, I was hardstuck in Diamond, jojoing between mid D3 and high D4. Does that mean that "Diamond ranked is too stingy" as well, only because my skill in this game cant get me to master?
ps. dont compare your rank to previous seasons. In my opinion, ranked has become a little bit tougher now, something that Respawn even said was one of their goals since too many players reached Diamond..
