Great season, fantastic work.

I'm seeing a lot of hate towards this season as people are basing the game solely on their ranked experience which shouldn't be the case.

The game feels way smoother on console compared to the previous season, the current map rotations are fantastic, the new character came in at a good position and is fun to play with and not to mention quite a few bugs were fixed which is great.

I'm mainly a ranked player and solo to masters nearly every season so I get that people aren't happy with the way the point system works and basically prioritising ratting the whole game but remember, the system is new and only a few weeks old. I'm sure in time they'll implement further changes until ranked sits at a good position so hold tight on that one 😀

Let's try and focus on the positive along with the negatives so that the developers understand fully what's going good and what needs working on. Complaining non stop and not proving constructive criticism isn't going to get people anywhere.  

Anyway keep up the good work EA/Respawn and hope you all enjoy the remainder of the season!

    I applaud the effort to change the old ranking system because that was totally broken too, like the probability that two players, randomly picked from bronze4 to gold1 was of equal skill level was very high. But let be honest; they seem to have based their ranked design on a "perfect case scenario" but totally failed to take into consideration how the majority of players ACTUALLY play this game. The new ranked system would work much better if:

    a) all players play with the main motivation to get as high placement as possible, just like ALGS

    b) all players played in 3-man premades with an agreement on how to play the game


    Then, the high reward for placement and low reward for kills would work because kills would be a mean to reach high placement and just ratting without fighting woudlnt work because too many squads would be alive far into the match. But we all know that this doesnt work. Half the lobby jump hot and eliminate each other which allow the other half of the lobby to just stay passive far away from the fighting, without having to fight for position or map rotations.

    But I do think the lag, mini-freezes and stutters have become slightly better.
