The gun shots are WAY TOO LOUD in this game. You can hear a team fighting a mile away. The reason why this is a problem is because half of the lobby can hear gun shots and they run straight to it. After you kill one squad, the rest of the lobby is already on you.
I think what you mean is that you would like gunshots to be more silent.
Now, I have no opinion either way, just wanted to stress that out!
We could argue all day whether guns are really that noisy or not (which they are, btw)... but this is all arbitrary gameplay decision by respawn.

Honestly, Apex was fun and great until this update. The game has to be on low because otherwise my ears get exploded by gun shots.
Have you ever heard a real gun fired? They are LOUD. Like, really, really LOUD.
It's the reason people 3rd party too much. I would have better games if not getting shot in the back back a random.
