Hold/toggle option for sprint and inventory

What this game needs (and needed for a long time) is hold/toggle option for sprinting and inventory.
I am used to and always prefer to hold buttons instead of toggling.
For sprinting it may not be a necessary option, as holding still works fine.
But for inventory - it is absolutely crucial.
Too many times I have died when looting and being fired at, and then in panic mode pressing Esc to exit inventory, and now I need to click Esc and Tab again to get back to the fight.
It would be so much easier to just stop pressing Tab instead of finding it in panic moments.
And I don't think it should be that hard of a challenge to add this feature to the game.
