HORIZON NERF TOO MUCH!

The designers of this game don't know a thing about balancing a legend, horizon is OP yes, but, instead of balancing her abilities they go so far to the opposite side of the scale they make her completely useless. Her ultimate ability was only useful when it could be combined with her gravity lift and grenades. Season 9 brings way too many changes that render everyone of her abilities now completely useless in the midst of a fight. Instead of changing everything about her, change only a few. For example limit her time she can sit atop her lift, but keep the cool down time the same, 20 SECONDS IS WAY TOO MUCH! And not only can you not rest on the gravity lift anymore but her speed is reduced as well. WHY DONT YOU JUST PUT A BIG TARGET ON HER FOR OTHER LEGENDS TO PRACTICE! cause that's all she's useful for after the patch. Nice to know we can't use horizon anymore just cause people complain about losing, Pathetic.

I love playing horizon but we all knew a major nerf was coming.

The main thing I didn't like was her sitting on top of her tactical with no penalties. No strafing and reduced accuracy while sitting on top of the tactical could have been another way to approach the issue.

Gonna be difficult adjusting to the nerf but of well, at least wraith mains can't complain this season about being nerfed.

  • Everything that's been done to horizon already is fine the way it is. But the reducing the lift speed by 30%!?!? That's taking it way too far. They said they we're going to make it "a bit easier" to hit her while she's in her ability. But that's more like SHE'S THE EASIEST TARGET TO HIT NOW. The nerf they done to horizon to everything else was fine but the lift speed should've been kept the same.

@Butter_F4ce I agree that it was kind of a clunky and unnecessary change. Its possible that the Devs didn't intend for it to be a combat ability but that's mainly how its used. An impromptu sniper tower, height to throw her Ult, or as a means of dodging shots while healing.

If the tactical was mainly designed to help your team quickly and quietly gain the high ground then that's pretty good by itself and the nerf might be meant to remove an unintended tactic.
