The lag when meeting up to a fight is rediculous. I have very high speed connection and I never had a problem until the crossplay. Also I constantly lose connection with server and have to reset my game multiple times. It's not worth it and it's just getting worse every day.
Ive experienced the same thing. I played Apex for a few seasons before crossplay, and loved the game. Ive been trying for the past couple of seasons to move up through Platinum to Diamond, and lag problems ever since crossplay are making that impossible. Every other night or so I get choppy lag that only kicks in right at the moment that I shoot at, or get shot at by another player. This was never a problem before crossplay. Just tonight, choppy lag cost me at least 3 Gold Ranked matches. Ive been patient, waiting for kinks or whatever to get worked out, but at this point I'm just going to uninstall and save myself the aggravation. The people I used to played Ranked with all the time already stopped pkaying Apex because of all the server issues. Whatever the details behind the problems are, youve managed to break a really great game.
I agree that my micro stutters started to appear the patch they introduced crossplay. Question is if its the crossplay specifically that causes it or something else they did. Whats makes me doubt that is that its been considerably worse THIS season compared to the last. Maybe its the Steam/Origin crossplay that causes it? I dont know if its a coincidence but I also experience less such lags when I play solo
yes its a huge issue. but they want you to diagnose your connection instead of fixing it.
The issue isn't cross play, it's the game servers.
The developers are aware and are working to fix multiple server-related issues.
Happenning to me now after update
Since they started fiddling with the US West server and forced cross play, my son and I are both experiencing major and consistent server issues. Almost impossible to play at the moment!!
