@Cabowse Yeah I don't want it removed, but I think is unbalanced atm... coming across quite a few teams who camp out on high areas with 2 or 3 of them simply poaching off other fights in the distance
However there are a lot of ways you could nerf this weapon and I am rly not sure what would be the best option would be. Maybe even a damage drop off with range so you cannot interfere with combats going on miles away that you aren't directly involved in.

@Cabowse Maybe a little less, 200 say... cos even at 250m with a longbow if you are shooting at a player who is moving, dodging and weaving in a random manner even the best players out there are not going to be able to reliably hit every shot. Between travel time and bullet drop you simply cannot possibly predict with accuracy where a randomly moving player will be.. with the longbow you pop off 5-6 shots you may get 1 or 2 if you're lucky.
Where the charge rifle is unfair or unlike other snipers that it is as dangerous against fast moving players taking evasive action as it is against players who have stopped to shoot back at you (or someone else). And the way it works even seems to encourage this more, you can line up you shot with the early part of the shot and soon as the damage numbers appear you know you're on target and just have to hold until the main charge is released.
It needs to be adjusted in some way to make it harder to do dmg to moving targets at distance.

@kartikins Makes me think I would love to see a hop up that rewards players for landing those long range hits with the longbow, something that increases damage the further the target is away from you.
Might actually addd this in creator's corner!

@Cabowse Interesting idea, although not sure everyone would like it. Apex is great 'cos it's a game which rewards aggressive forward play, pushing and close combat... it worries me that anything which encourages camping and sniping from across the map would be a little antithetical to what gives Apex it's individuality and makes it different. On a practical level I think the devs said somewhere they wanted to keep a limit of 6 hopups in the game, and there isn't a single hop up which only fits one weapon... you'd need this hop up to fit another gun too, and tbh I think the Wingman is the only candidate. Makes it a bit close to the skullpiercer. Maybe you could give it to the hemlock in single fire mode.
Although I will admit both wingman and longbow feel a little "naked" to me without the skullpiercer, was sad to see it go.
(I would also like to see the rationale given in "game world logic" for a hop up which makes a bullet do MORE damage the further it travels... that would be a funny story!)
