How many more topics do we need to create to NERF OR REMOVE THE SHOTGUNS?

I mean seriously, EVERY SINGLE fight ends with some noob shotgunning the whole squad, because they are too OP, no aiming required, no precision required, just point to a rough direction and that's it...

Hope something will start to happen. Until then I keep reporting all shotgun kills as gameplay exploits...

@CrashA321 If you allow someone to get to you within shot gun range, then expect to get shot gunned, I don't understand why people whine about it so much.

It's your fault, you allowed yourself to be in a position to get shot gunned, same argument with snipers, if you get snipped or shot gunned, maybe change your tactic.

    Simply because there should be a way to counter shotguns. I know they are close range weapons, but so as smgs. You get very little chance when you go up against shotguns with an smg. You are basically forced to use a shotgun, or get killed. That is NOT balanced. Prowler got put into the care package for far less than that. That is the problem, plus the fact that on average 30% of kills in the match are done by a shotgun. Why? Because it's too OP.

      Not about avoiding range, it's about having a fair fight close range

        @CrashA321 And a shot gun at close quarters is the most efficient weapon, just like a r301 at mid range , and a r99 at close to mid range. They all have advantages, it's up to you to notice what the enemy has and how to counter it.

      @Benchwarmerbrew Then you tell me how to avoid the final ring distance in those ALGS, or people who jump in the same place as you in casual/ranked game.

      This game just benefits the one who use shotguns, as there are so many buildings and covers for you to fight, and the closing ring forces people to fight in a close-range combat. Skills and ultis of legends also help a team to avoid long-range snipes and close the distance between 2 teams. It is so ridiculous to deal ~170 damage for just 3 shots of EVA-8 within 1 second.

      Anyway, the last patch didn't nerf the shotguns, so we can enjoy using those cancers for at least 1 more month.
