Introduction SPECTATOR MODE

Hi everyone. Lately i have been missing something in this game, and turning it around i have concluded that the INTRODUCTION IN THE GAME OF THE SPECTATOR MODE would be a very good idea.

Many times i dont feel like paying, but im connected to origin and i see that some of my friends are playing. Many times i would like to see them play, without having to be playing in the same game with them or anything like that.

Adding the spectator mode i think it would be a good idea.

Those who agree with me please support this post to get its implementation in the game 🙂.

@arcangelreneI know on PlayStation we can request to watch them (any game, not just Apex). Not sure for PC and Xbox. I would personally like a spectate mode for when I join my friends lobby and I’m waiting for them. I would rather watch them play than sit in the lobby doing nothing.

It's a nice idea, they've even done a little of it with their tournament set up, which allows 60 players and 5 spectators. The problem though is that it's not practical to have in game. 

You're not the only one that would like to spectate friends, they're others. You could maybe 80 people in a server, 20 being spectators, but that would definitely impact the server performance. 

There would need to be a limit, but at that point what's really the point? What if a big streamer has people that want to spectate them? Sever would crash no doubt. 

I agree with what you're saying, it just won't happen. The devs are a part of a studio, Respawn, and Respawn is a studio under EA, using EAs servers. The servers we have are 20hz while most games run on 60hz, the servers are this bad on purpose. My point is EA will not spend the time or money needed to improve their servers to implement this kind of feature. It's outside of Respawns control. 

It's a nice idea, but EA would never give the green light.
