Passive Issue:
I have many times where I am reviving my ally and the opponents kill them or myself without doing any damage to my revive shield.
I would like the shield to be wider, maybe as wide as Rampart's wall, to make it easier to block their shots or stay ahead of their strafe so they must bust the shield before killing us.

so you are saying an aimbot can aim around a shield?
if so, how does the server acknowledge the shot as legit?
@MrGreenWithAGun The server mainly thinks its a legit shot, because it (as far as I'm aware of), takes what the player's client sends as a "fact".
This means that if a player 1 shot player 2, player 1's game client will tell the server if they had hit player 2. The server then tell player 2's game client that they were hit. It doesn't really matter if player 1 had line of sights on player 2 or not, because the game's client was the thing that sent the hit registration, not the player. (In other words, player 1 didn't just say "I hit player 2", their game client did).
This is also why high ping players and lag compensation is a problem. High ping players can still see you before you go behind cover due to being behind in the packets sent to and from the server. On their end, they still see you, on your end, you're safe. When a cheater uses aimbot, they only deal damage when you're in the line of sight of them. When they use soft aimbot, you will see bullet lines curving to hit. This is also a problem because sometimes you can't tell if its lag compensation or a cheater using soft aimbot.

If the server isn't the authority on what takes place, then the entire design is flawed.
The server is to decide if the shot is legit.
It is to decide if the position of the gun is legit.
It is to decide if the clip's round count is legit.
If what you are saying is true, then this game is cheaters' paradise.
@MrGreenWithAGunLag switching was very common in S1 to about S5 or so.
That's when someone would use a cheat to hold onto packets, (the things telling the server where everyone is at, what they're doing, etc.) With the packets being halted, the cheater can run across the map, shoot at you, and then run away. They then allow their game to send the packets, and the server just goes, "alright". That's when you'll see someone "teleport" or move in a fast way that wasn't a speed hack, resulting in someone getting randomly knocked.
