It’s so annoying

Let me start by saying Apex Legends is just annoying to play. I have over 1500 hours playing time and for some reason I still get sh## on every game. I bought an Xbox controller with the dpads over a year ago and it helped me feel faster, but now it’s like every game has predator or master players. I got to the point where Im reporting people all the time. It’s not even fun because the only chance I have to win a fight is to snipe or to have a teammate who is one of those predator players. I don’t even write reviews, so you can tell how bad I hate playing this game now. Even wildcard I get teammates that have over 2000 damage in the first few minutes of the game while to me it doesn’t make sense how the second I shoot someone I’m getting clapped from the back. Even if I start shooting from height and I’m head glitching and my enemy isn’t even aware I’m there, he still turns and takes all of my shield to where I can’t even poke my head out . It’s just  annoying

  • Matchmaking isn't working and we have a huge number of cheaters. That's your whole problem. Solo q died a long time ago. You're always getting weaker teammates, and you're constantly fighting demons or 3stacks (as evidenced by their nicknames or shared tag). The game is currently unbearable.

  • Six year old game with no new or casual players left. Well-documented cheating epidemic. Some of the worst "skill-based" matchmaking in the history of shooters. Put it all together and what do you get? Apex Legends.

  • Matchmaking? - not really  ....

    (hours played 3000+ )

    @moment matchmaking worst then ever

  • Since christmas i have over 30 screenshot of getting g killed by predators. Im at plat at best players.  Roughly a .6 kpm.

does the matchmaker perhaps purposefully stick pro streamers with n00bs to give the streamers more action-packed killing sprees for better entertainment value and publicity for the game?

could be (TTV names, suppressed names), smurfs (standard skin) etc...

  • Why are you reporting people?

There is nothing wrong with the game, it just has a very high skill ceiling.

I've maxed out my old account that somehow got disconnected from my profile and my new one is now lvl 417. I will give a list of examples that I see with people who just can't seem to figure it out.

    1. Movement. People just don't seem to understand how to utilize the controls in this game. (Straffing, landing in sideways slides, etc.)
    2. Cover. People don't use it to their advantage, even if it's a small ledge.
    3. Shield cells. I don't see people keeping their shields charged, even if you only have enough time to pop one cell it can be the difference between life or death.
    4. Over looting. People will loot entire areas rather than just grabbing what they need, leading to them having a squad come out of nowhere and wreck them and stealing all their loot.
    5. Aim. So many people just can't figure it out. It does change per weapon.
    6. Bad communication. Nobody utilities the ping system nor communicates positions if using a mic. For example if they hear people in a certain direction they may just ping as an enemy spotted rather than the option for they hear enemies. Or if using a mic doesn't let their teammates know if they see an enemy.
    7. Not using abilities properly or at all. So many straight up play like they forgot their legend has abilities, or if they use them they use them in ways that are not beneficial at all.
    8. Teamwork. I constantly watch people just run off by themselves. At certain times it works, but more often then not it leads to them being lit up by a full squad.
    9. Damage sharing. This is one almost nobody seems to understand. But if you're forcing an enemy to deal with both you and a teammate rather than just you eating all the damage it will increase your survival rate immensely.
    10. People don't really customize their controls. For me my game improved a lot when I changed my controls to very high look sensitivity and turned auto run on. (With auto run on your footsteps will always be heard unless you duck or slowly move)

I could go on all day. If you would like to squad up I can also show you what I know.
