- @jumanjaydazed The way I see it:
- Apex is gradually losing more of its player base, so if they don't start adding content and variety that trend will only continue.
- If Apex adds more variety they will likely keep and even increase that player base. More players = less queue time
Also, I don't know about you, but I would prefer to add an extra minute to my queue time if it meant playing something I wanted, like solos or even TPP. But there is no guarantee that more variety would create longer wait times. In fact, queuing up for TPP was by far the quickest queue times I have had in awhile. - @Witherpizza I agree. I have no idea why people think an option to choose FPS or TPP, in the same lobby, would be a good idea. If TPP is going to be implemented, it needs to be a separate game mode and I think the Devs are smart enough to know that as well.
- @tripleAeye Oh god why do you suggest they keep barf mode as the one soiree mode? As a Pathfinder main, third person view left me unable to grapple properly and dizzy as all hell when I tried. Maybe I'd get used to it eventually, but the few games I could stomach made me feel super ill.
- @styyxo I am hearing impaired as well so I respect this type of reason. I am fine for this to be its own gamemode but I don't think it should be a permanent thing, either.
- Yeah, I liked it.
Keep it as a choice. That's true. But, if there is more variety and an increase in players, the amount of players needed to keep the queue times where they're at now will need to increase 10 fold. The same, I don't mind waiting a minute or so. If they did implement it, they could give the option for "open games" with less players in a match. Just to decrease the queue times.
Of course TPP was the quickest by far because everyone is playing it to get their arcade points and skins.🤔

For example, what if unarmed/running enabled 3rd person view? 3rd person doesn't work with Apex's gunplay, but I've long wanted to have better visibility while running across fields.
I've also wanted unarmed mode's mouse2 to detatch the camera so you can look around while running in the same direction. I think this would be good for the game, as players won't have to run sideways or backwards across fields.
- @Witherpizza Could not agree more.
Apex is losing its player base sadly I also agree but that's mostly down to EA / Respawn doing absolutely nothing about the major bugs / cheaters / Dashboarding and trying to sugar coat it with this type of thing.
I seriously hope they just build on apex as it is but I'm already at the brink of stopping playing it entirely.
I had to make a new account just to experience the new modes as my main could not it bugged out or game froze everytime I tried to access them and the ea response? Don't worry the new update will give you the rewards you already earned.
Who knows what route this game will go down but they are slowly killing it off - @styyxo Are you really deaf? i could not imagine playing apex legends with absolutely no sound lol, the other day i lost all sound and playing the match was so hard I was just trying to look everywhere constantly afraid of an enemy sneaking up on me
- @jumanjaydazed Honestly I was just assuming it would be a toggle in settings, but you would be in the same lobbys together, both settings have positives and negatives, pc/controller users on pc are in same lobbys together and not seperate so if they just kept the lobbys the same it shouldn’t affect queue times, its just a setting and not a seperate game mode, but solo and duos and all of those would add seperate queues but if they alternated a different one every week it wouldn’t be that bad, if the game still functions during an event mode i dont see an issue with solos one week, duos another week, kings canyon a week, etc
These weeks would not affect any new events, during a new apex event there wouldnt be any extra modes decides the current event
