Lack of diversity
I don't believe it's just a coincidence that the only white male in the game is Caustic, the guy who is "toxic" and literally gasses people. EA as a company is incredibly divisive with their woke age...

@McCmuffin Yeah nah, you're just looking into it with a skewed lens. One could argue that with the Outlands lore none of the real world exist there. I think they've done a good job adding Legend's that could been seen to represent diverse ethnicities.
Make whatever excuses you feel like you need to. I said what I said.
Play the game, have fun.
If you do not like it, do not play it.
As @reconzero said politicizing the conversation is bad and not needed, because once one starts down that rabbit hole there is no end to it.
If you try to make everyone happy you will make no one happy. Really how many legends would have to be made just to make sure no one is left out or feeling hurt?
We all put on our pants the same way and as long as we treat each other here and in game including EA/Respawn with respect it does not matter.
BTW the title of your thread is a misnomer as there is lots of diversity in game, in fact more than in any other game that I know of.
