Lagging player have a significant advantage

To make it quick,

lagging players have a significant advantage over players with a stable connection.

This is the first season (season 7) that i noticed it and don't think that it was a thing before.

At least I couldn't find other topics regarding this.

The problem:

Player which are lagging are much harder to hit, because of the visual lag of course.

But it's seems as they are hitting just fine.

Please can someone look into this.

Thanks.

Btw: I love season 7 so far and thanks for the battlepass changes

  • @Seifenst1Not going to deny anything - most of my games this season is constant packet losses, and I've checked in with EA, and they're like "you need to open up ports!" I did that, and I still have the same issue with the game. The server lag I get, its so bad, it gets to the point where on my end, I can shoot, crack, and almost kill a player, and then I go to reload and I just see "eliminated <player>" and sit there like "???". I had a match yesterday, where I shot at a Pathfinder, broke his armor, and he went into a building and closed the door. I saw my shots hit the door, and then just see "Knocked <player>" (as if the door was still "opened").

I can highly agree that it needs to be addressed and fixed, because as a player who "doesn't have a stable connection", I don't like getting kills from lagging to hard. It's not right, and it's not fair to other players. (Although, I also get killed by players lagging worse than me. Had a Lifeline a few days ago practically teleporting all over the place, where I closed a door and the Lifeline walked through the door like it was open.

  • I think this is a speed hack.  Note if the player is moving faster than is possible.  I have had lagging players before, but I came across a bangalore warping across the screen faster than any character can move and I do believe this is a speed hack.
