My leave penalty has now gone up to about 45 minutes and I've only left out of anger 2 times in a week. The other times I have just forgotten that I was playing ranked. I happen to switch between ranked and casual alot. The other day me and my friend was the only two people left against one squad at the end of the game. We both died and when you are the second to last team to win you don't immediatly get the quick leave option on spacebar. So we both left through escape key and even though the whole team was dead we both got abandonment penalties for 15 minutes. I mean what the hell is that about?
What the devs need to do is do what already exists in League of Legends. Add a five seconds lock before you can leave so you know for sure that you will get penalised if you leave. And it should only do that in ranked so that you know when you are about to leave that it is ranked. I read that some guy got an abandonment penalty for a week and now I am kinda scared to play ranked any more. The only option I have is to pull out my escape key so I will not forget when ever I am playin ranked. But what if I forget to do that, then I am screwed. There must be more people than myself that are having these kind of issues.
Okey, appartantly this system is really broken cause now I have gotten an 80 minute abandonment penalty when I had qeueud a casual game.... I clearly had selected casual and could even see after the game how casual was already selected. Respawn has made leaving games illegal apparantly without telling us. Thanks Respawn.
