Legend buffs and nerfs

Here are some legend buffs and nerfs I think would be pretty neat.

Octane:
Smaller hitbox (fix hitbox)
When stiming, reload and climb faster

Mirage:
3 decoys
More realistic decoy animations
A better passive

Gibraltor:
Remove fast heals inside the sheild

Caustic:
Reduce teammates slowed by his gas by 50%

Bloodhound:
Reduce the time it takes to charge ult

Pathfinder:
Increase cooldowns

Lifeline:
Better loot inside of her care packages

Crypto:
Get drone again faster when destroyed
Drone has more health

Thoughts?

  • I actually think the casting time of Caustic's gas traps is too sudden and fast. Barely any time that leaves you defenseless, and actually gives you a huge edge in any head-on fight. Although that's just my opinion as a non-caustic main and non-uber pro

  • The problem with the fences isnt the damage its the fact that they are too easy to circumvent because of the fact that people know what to shoot and if all else fails they wont walk through they'll open the door just so your fences break them then just start shooting through the entry ways, and thats provided they havent come chasing you down and shot you to ever living hell while trying to place them to get them off you. As an actual perimeter defense they dont really do the job the way they need too except in all of possibly three places on worlds end where the opponent will be forced to slam right into them if not they will just stop and just pretty much start humping walls till they can clip the nodes and break the fence or just start running circles till they find the door you havent gotten to cover up yet and if you try to stop them they just shoot through the fence at you because it only does something for you when they step through it and if that ends up being the case have fun with that lovely debuff to low profile, because that gem that they believed was a "good idea" for balancing characters that are already taking bonus damage from everything, means that she gets melted by people just spraying in her general direction, especially if they're using a shotgun. peacekeeper without any attachments is pretty much guaranteed to two shot her if shes wearing body armor if shes just hp shes kissing the pavement.

@TorvusVulpes Well, yeah you can also use the fences to control where other people will go, and lead them into a certain spot.
Mainly the houses in Kings Canyon have line of sight from the doors to inside. There aren’t many in Worlds edge. Even still, if you see them approach a door, shoot them. Don’t just sit in the corner and pray they don’t see you or that they go away.
People know what to shoot, but they won’t be able to shoot it if you put it further to the side of the entrance. People know what to shoot with Caustic traps, but that isn’t usually much of a problem.
You probably shouldn’t be trying to run away from someone and place fences, that’s just a bad situation to be in.
Well yeah, it will discourage people from crossing the fences. Plus, if they start hugging the walls, to try and get a line of sight on a node, why aren’t you shooting them? Or stick them with an arc star? Even if they do shoot at you, you can kind of try to trade because they have limited movement by the fence.
If you’re facing someone with low profile who wants to cross your fence, they still take low profile damage before they cross the fence. You can melt them before they cross your fence. But if anyone crosses your fence and you laser them, then the trap is working.

@TorvusVulpes Personally for me, one of the biggest downsides to Wattson is how long it takes to put down her fences. I'm not only talking about CD, but the time and precision it takes to put down these fences. For example, you need to make sure that the fences are lined up just right so they aren't clipping into a watercooler or being blocked by the tiniest of things. The animation to put up fences takes time too so enemies can just charge into you as you are setting up fences.

I was thinking of something to circumvent this. Maybe fast click automatically puts up a 2m fence between a gap, and hold click can be used to put the fences down manually.

Or the ultimate automatically puts up a fence between all major gaps in the nearby area, i.e. doors, or between two walls, or even just puts up an auto fence at the perimeter of the ultimate. So if enemies run into the range where the ult recharges shields, it shocks them like the fence.
