Caustic first of all his damage is terrible with his gas. It last what 13 seconds or something doing 5 damage with a total of 65 damage which requires someone to stay inside it. Bring it up to 7 damage for now at least leaving it at 91 damage still not completing the kill which might need to make it to 8 which can kill someone but who's really going to sit inside the gas for 13 seconds. So make it 7 or 8 damage per tick. Wraith needs her hitbox lowered at least 5%. It's a bit troubling shooting something that isn't even there like a wraith can be behind a object completely and will still be shot at. So shrink her hitbox 8% from that 20% that was increased. Loba needs a buff too with her jump drive but at the moment it doesn't matter if it doesn't work. Says that it's fixed but is worse to where now you don't even land where the jump drive is. I can throw it to her max distance just to move 5 feet stuck on a wall or I jump drive to a place above just to spawn on the edge and fall. Fix the jump drive then make it faster because it's kinda slow. Loba's jump drive should be a cooldown of 23-25 seconds and the speed of the jump drive going through the air has to be faster. Horizon I think still needs a nerf with her lift making it at least 5% shorter because that thing is super high and it's too much with trying to shoot her and her going higher than every single thing literally not one building can't be lifted above except like bonsai plasa or whatever in Olympus but that's pretty much it. I also think Wattson needs a small buff with her nodes having a bit more health. I also think revenants tactical should only take a legends ability for like 15 seconds because 20 seconds of it being removed just to be hit by it again making it 40 seconds isn't nice and maybe make it do 5 more damage.

@BarretOblivion You basically nailed it. The underlying theme with people who seem to be ok with nerfs to Caustic and other defence oriented character is that it's a FPS game and shooting is the be all end all. Other playstyles/tactics aren't tolerated as the underlying "GiT GuD" with shooting is, really, the underlying argument.I think having different playstyles and options makes the game more dynamic and interesting. In all honesty, it's kind of sad that many just want "rush rush rush, shoot shoot shoot" as the only viable playstyle. A bit one dimensional. As soon as you make them think, pause or reconsider a scenario you get howls of protest. Maybe the "gIT gUd" comment should go towards them to deal with it rather than punishing different playstyles.

@DevsREgotisitc Wattson doesn't only have her fences with her pylon destroying grenades and cancels out plenty of the legends abilities and with the stun of her fences and the larger amout of fences she can place she is better than caustic and looking on the damage between caustic and wattson wattson would do more damage with being just 2 seconds in her fence doing like 30 damage verses caustics traps having to sit in it for 6 seconds to even out damage.

I completely agree with Caustic, what most people get wrong with "gas traps don't do enough damage to kill people" is that they say that we rely on the gas to do everything, but they misunderstand the point, if people feel comfortable in the gas knowing that they can pull off a quick med kit whilst being it it, then there's a problem IN MY OPINION.

@DevsREgotisitc He got nerfed badly only doing 5 damage a tick taking 20 seconds to knock someone if with full health and the trap doesn't even last that long leaving not much damage to a person. A person could stay in a gas trap the whole time and not even go down. The damage needs to be increased.

@matzesingt Maybe but aren't they taking away Caustic's ability to do that? The changes were weakening the blur effect, lowering the damage and I think decreasing the slow effect. They also allow players to shoot out his barrels before they're fully inflated. This means his traps are only effective when actually camping, for finishing a downed enemy, or when used out of line of sight in combat.
For the most part his tactical is useless for damage or creating space in actual combat. His Ult should still be pretty decent at CC but for a Legend you picked entirely for his abilities he seems too situational and underwhelming.

You got a visual bug now making it easy to see through the gas, he got an unjustified ult nerf cooldown, and then yes, his damage is so useless in the gas now people just blind push. Watson is now far superior because people actually have to stop for her traps, while Caustic people don't even stop now.

@BarretOblivion Lmao Watson is terrible compared to caustic still her traps do way less damage Eve after the buff, have a damage cooldown, can’t block doors, and can be destroyed by gas
