@DevsREgotisitc You entirely missed the point. Caustic now no longer does the job of slowing nor stopping pushes with the nerfs. Watson still stops teams, even if only slightly she does a better job now at being a defensive character. People respect the fence, they no longer care about the gas.
Lets be honest though, beside Gibby who is basically an assault character at this point instead of a defensive character, all defense characters are terrible at this point. There are too many buffs to push/attack characters to enhance their abilities to circumvent fortified defensive postitions and overall solid tactics to the point where they straight now can ignore, or easily circumvent a defense character.
Is that really the whole point to make this game a mad rush game at this point? Throw away tactics, planning, and over thinking for just a CoD rush BR?
Rampart, Caustic, and Wattson need buffs to counter the hyper aggression that they are supposed to stop or slow down. Maybe damage isn't the thing, maybe giving these characters more HP/harder to hit tacticals, have stronger crowd control when those tacticals do hit targets, etc. You can't just nerf their damage and wonder why they are so bad when you already nerfed their "annoying factors" like the Pros want.

@BarretOblivion You basically nailed it. The underlying theme with people who seem to be ok with nerfs to Caustic and other defence oriented character is that it's a FPS game and shooting is the be all end all. Other playstyles/tactics aren't tolerated as the underlying "GiT GuD" with shooting is, really, the underlying argument.
I think having different playstyles and options makes the game more dynamic and interesting. In all honesty, it's kind of sad that many just want "rush rush rush, shoot shoot shoot" as the only viable playstyle. A bit one dimensional. As soon as you make them think, pause or reconsider a scenario you get howls of protest. Maybe the "gIT gUd" comment should go towards them to deal with it rather than punishing different playstyles.
