Okay i have never experienced it going somewhere i never aimed at i have had a person lag past my bullets or through but that's completely different

I'm not sure what to tell you. It's how the mechanic works from a programming standpoint. There are plenty of videos about it on youtube to confirm what I'm saying. In fortnite, when you aim at people, even if you have your sight right on them, you can potentially miss. As newer updates came, they allow the first shot you make to go around the bloom effect, so maybe it's not as noticeable as it once was. Anyway, this is the main reason why I don't play that game.
