Lifeline Auto-Revive is completely Broken

Another game where i died, because of this crap auto-revive OP ..... Downing a player, he auto-revive him, and stay behind the shield i slide to knock him again, but no YOU GOT TO DO 100 damage in o...

    @Sir_Named dude stop trying to defend every single issue respawn makes you * fanboy. I see you in every single forum that is talking about a legit issue, and you always say that the person writing it is wrong. Lifeline auto revive is broken. Plain and simple. Nobody asked for it (besides lifeline mains) and nobody wanted it (besides lifeline mains). I have had numerous occasions where either the enemy squad beamed me or I beamed the enemy squad and in an instant, their lifeline picks them up with a big * shield to stop almost everything and the lifeline can still fight back. This isn't balance. You don't balance the game for someone being better than you. That's not how you are supposed to do it.

Nice joke. Strategy in a fast paced game, wow you don`t have time to think it up.

And yeah its bad.

In some situation grenade are useful, but just in some, in other situation are totally useless. Also you may not have grenade and your whole point is gone.

As far as just push, the game doesn`t work that way, because you have to think about the downed player that is getting revived as well.

And in order to down a player, you probably get damage, so you are either push not on full hp, probably even low, with the danger in getting down, and a big danger to get f* by a third party team, or heal and then push, and then the force will be equal again.

Auto-revive is a bad thing for the game the arguments i make have perfect sense. Zero skill and zero brain ability.

And next time read the whole post and think about it, before commenting on 1 point, without even thinking about it.

First, you have plenty of time for strategy and planning. Being good at any FPS game requires more than just mechanical skill. You also need to be able to assess a given situation and figure out a plan. Now this plan might be to push the enemy, or retreat, or what have you. But it's all part of an overall strategy. And if you cant do that, as a player, that's your own fault and your own shortcomings.

Second, you not having a grenade is mostly your own fault. They are everywhere, in this game. Maybe instead of having 400 ammo and 20 syringes on you, you could carry a grenade or two. It's not rocket science.

Thirdly, like I said in the first part of my comment, the game absolutely does work this way. Again, it's all about planning. When I said "rush in" I wasn't being literal. I didn't mean "run in like a mad man" I meant push when you have the advantage (which, You should, in a 3v2 situation). And, even if one of you gets downed and the revived teammate gets back up, if youve downed their teammates, what are they going to do? Take you on in a 1v2 at half health? 

Lastly, I read all of your reply and your OP and it sounds like you have no real reason against this ability, you just don't like it, because you don't understand how to deal with it and doing so requires effort on your part. Just because you don't know how to read a situation and counter an ability/enemy, doesn't make something a bad. It sounds like you just need to be a better player and not run in, like Rambo, without a care in the world.

Honestly, that's all this really boils down to. There's people in this game that just want to run in, guns blazing and have no consequences to their actions. Maybe if they learned that there is more to this game than "Shooty Shooty Bang Bang", we would see less topics, like this, on here.

    Well said she isn’t op at all people are taking time to slow the game down in their head and form a start to work around her revive. It’s not hard to do she can be easily countered.

      Exactly. And I know there's talk in this thread about how "fast" or "slow" paced this game is, butt in reality, that's irrelevant. If you want to be good in this game, you need to deal with what it throws at you and you need to be assess a situation and make a decision quickly. If you can't do that, then you need to get better as a player.

      I mean, it's not rocket science, we do it with everything in this game. You need to assess every situation, and then figure out what to do within it. Whether or not you should loot an area, when you should heal, when you should shoot, Which weapons you should pick up, all of that is part of being a good player.

      in the situation the OP mentioned, there is things you can do to counter the enemy. Now, if you don't have the tools to counter them, Then I understand why it's difficult. But, as I said, that can also be mostly your fault. Like the grenade example I said, If you're not carrying one, that's your fault. There are plentiful around the map, and there's no reason you can't grab one or two. I'm not saying pack your inventory full of them, but grab a couple. 

      I mean, everything you do in this game is a decision and it can affect the outcome of your fights. And, the better you are, as a player, the better and faster you can make these decisions. And if you know where things to plan for in general, Like you might come across a lifeline in the game, Then you can be better prepared for how to deal with her.

      This is where not only knowing and understanding your own legend comes in handy, But also knowing and understanding the legends of your teammates and enemies comes in handy. Same things with the weapons you prefer, versus the weapons overall. The more knowledgeable you are about all things in this game, the better you can be prepared for any given situation. And that's all this is. Lifeline's new ability isn't overpowered, there's just a bit of a learning curve with how/when to use it and how to deal with it.

      That's the same for anything that's new or altered in this game. When a new legend comes out, you have to learn how they play, same thing with a new gun, or if an ability is altered. As I said, there is a learning curve, and some people will learn faster Then others, but that doesn't mean that particular thing is bad and doesn't belong in the game. It just means you need to adjust to it, as a player.

        What your doing is reading by the lines and not taking the point. You are talking about grenade, i`m not 12 years old kid, everyone knows there is a grenade in the game, and i already explained what the problem with the grenade are, but you was that stubborn to not get it, just because it does not suit your view.

        Go watch some of the pros/streamers, grenades are used not to finish a fight, but to engage the fight. How you going to throw grenades, when you don`t have, because you already sued them? How hard is that to get it ? I need to write this like 20 time, in order for you to maybe read it or get it.

        And again, even if you not throw your grenade and keep them in case for Lifeline auto-revive, there is like million situation where you can`t land them. Firstly you got 2 guys who will be shooting at you, its depend on the distance on the situation and many more. There is also like million way to block your way or sight to there, like Caustic traps/ult, Bangalore Smoke, Gibraltar dome, ult, Wattson pylon, Wraith portal and like 2983982397276397 situation where you cant just use grenade.

        And stop with the thing that its easy to aim the grenade, when 2 people are aiming at you, and you have a big shield to bypass.

        Even pro player like Stooj missed with grenade, and no one was shooting at him, at distance like 20-30 meters, and he was on top of the building.

        Same with the push, there is a million ways to stop this. And its most of the time you will be low, if you push it mean you are taking more risk and the danger to being down is big, so that make you vulnerable to be killed or even downed and more vulnerable to third party.

        But for that you need to think it, not just catch for 1 word and here is my counter argument.

        Not to even mention how unfair that auto-revive b.c. is, and that is taking the kills out of the players.

        And no its all muscle memory when 2 or 3 people are shooting at you.

        As far as strategy goes, everyone have, but there is broken mechanics, there is OP mechanics, and there is bad mechanics, that should not exist. And every situation is different. its also depend a lot of your skill level if you can pull that move out.

        I`m playing FPS game for like 20 years, so you don`t need to tell me that you actually have to think in games, its obvious. I was a very good Warcraft and a dota player, same for CS:GO, so don`t try to teach me how the things work i know it by myself.
