Lifeline needs a serious rework.

Lifeline is just fine as is, puts out nice purple shields over here, and stuff that at least one of the teammates needs.
" In a 1v1 lifeline has nothing to give her an edge" ... srsly dude ? What about the heal drone ? Ah no thats not an advantage at all in a 1v1 , gimme a break !

Im fed up with the whole nerf/buff discussion, especially when the Banga ppl dont get anything and others that do get buffs still complain about it.
So since im now at it : Give us the Gibby Airstrike and leave that crippled super long latency bomb thing that anyone can easily run from for the guy with the Dome, he is overpowered anyway with that extra shield.

I used to main Lifeline back from S1 but ever since they removed the res shield, I never play Lifeline anymore so I might be incorrect here if they recently changed her ult but I think the ult works this way now:

When you use the ult, it checks all your teammates inventory and it will always give you a one tier better than your teams worst weapon attachment, knockdown shield or a backpack in the first  care package slot, a one tier better than your teams worst body shield in the second care package slot and shield battery, phoenix kit or med kit in the third..  

This means it will ALWAYS give you a blue body shield if one of your teammates has a white, which kinda sucks since its only worth MAXIMUM 150 dmg dealt but probably less since you usually have fought a little bit before you get the first ultimate. Therefore I never bring it down when one teammate has a white shield, unless we are try harding in high elo ranked and we dont plan to fight unless we absolutely have to.  And likewise, if one of your teammates has a blue shield, you will 100% get a purple shield in the pack etc etc.

But on the topic; I also think she needs a rework, because lets be honest here; as a reviver, a Gibbe is 10 times better. And if an enemy team allows a Lifeline to revive the same person over and over, its OP because they dont know how to play on an advantage and NOT because Lifelines revive passive is good. And her Q is statistically very rarely very impactful to your success. I think most of the times, its just a convenience and time saver rather than a "tactical" abillity that can change the outcome of a fight .  And even if she is a mid-tier picked legend in casual, she has 0% pickrate in pro games so you cant argue that she is OP at least.

Bang is also one of those original legends I was mentioning that gets no love!

While I will agree the heal drone is quite handy - however, when alone, it is only good while stationary. And we all know in Apex if you don't keep moving - you die. 

I can't tell you how many times I deploy my heal drone and an enemy pushes me. So I am forced to leave the drone behind and move. So in a 1v1, unless you sit still and nobody pushes you or forces you to move - yes, I will then agree with you it helps alot. 

Again when alone, that is all she has. Oh and the blue shield I get out of her care package once before the match ends is OP.    : )

@r1ggedgameBangalore at least gets a speed boost when she's getting shot at, and even has smoke screen to make her harder to see.
I main Lifeline even after they made her worse and I can confidently say in. 1v1 or any v1 situation, her health drone does not give her any sort of edge, especially when you have all these scanner abilities that ping you out if you manage to escape to try to heal. Any health that is gained by the health drone is gone within a shot or two if you aren't lucky enough to get a full shield up before your opponent tracks you down.
In a 1v1 sitch, there is nothing distracting your opponent from finding you and killing you. If you're a life line and you're the last man standing on your team and you can't get to them to rez or get banners, your only hope is Bob and weave and hope you don't get hit by the team that wipes your squad or any third party vultures.

Her double rez ability requires a safe place and still time to revive them. A majority of the time my teammates want me to rez them the instant they are down, they don't care if they're out in the open. Even then they can very easily get finished off before or directly after the rez pulled off. They don't get any type of protection while being revived unless you're willing to shield them with your own body which honestly, doesn't work a good majority of the time because the other team will push you and wipe you and your reviving team.

And Bangalore didnt get any boosts while all the others got multiple, still having the * airstrike, smoke now useless due to Seer.
And on the topic of the healdrone, i myself had quite some situation where the drone gave me an advantage in a 1v1, all depending on how you move around while maintaining contact to that drone (strafe aim), if you just stand still youre dead anyway ... might be a controller vs mouse issue ... idk.
Also dont forget to choose the location of your fights, 1v1 out in the open is a bad strategy to begin with ...

Also from your text i can see that its not  a lifeline problem , but one you have with your teammates dying in the open field ... even the shield would not help much in that situation.
I myself rather have the option to rez 2 guys at once than having a fricken shield, cover can be easily taken, if you have a certain awareness of the surrounding and not by rushing in blindly !
Lifelines Rez should not make up for bad positioning in the 1st place ! 

On regards to "bad" shields , you guys know that the replicator boosts shields ? I normally have a Purple in notime, needs 150 currency for the replicator ... also killing prowlers,spiders and especially flyers (60 dmg per flyer !) boost your shield, all depending on where you drop . Some Prowler, some Birds and 1-2 charges at the replicator and you have a red shield. 

@CrazieAtesPS4dude are you referring to me ? just mentioned that the lifeline puts out nice purples over here, including stuff that at least one of your team needs , not that its is a special perk whatsoever. if you find purples with ease , fine for you. other dont have that luck i guess , at least from what ppl are telling here.
What do you want Life to drop in her carepack ? Red weapons ?!?!
Oh what did i thank those lifelines for the carepack in a standoff situation at the end of a match, the opponent might not get shields and health for free as we did ...
Carepack itself can also provide cover for you and the team, you can place it somewhere strategic or just as temporary cover to heal up behind it.

FINAL THOUGHTS :
If you really want lifeline to get some stuff, you most likely get it by not playing the character at all.
Respawn has quite a history of trying to balance Legend usage ratio, if a char gets too dominant/popular it will be nerfed, if its not used barely at all, it will get some stuff to make it appealing again.

@r1ggedgameGo check Bangalore then. She literally has a passive speed boost when getting shot at, and not every team you come across with have a seer.
Good for you that you can use the healdrone and hold your own on a 1v1. I always get tanked and no I don't just sit still, but trying to 1v1 with her is reliant way more on your own skill than the other legends. Bang has a speed boot, gibby has shields, bloodhound has scanners. What does Lifeline have? Combat drone. A passive for teammates. Yes she is a support, but why can't she have something to help support herself?
And no it shouldn't make up for bad positioning, but those kind of situations are always a thing and you get left to your own devices with a disadvantage because you can't do anything for them, or die trying to get them, and if you don't get them they rage quit anyway and you're still at a disadvantage, but even more so cause all she has is a healdrone and a care package.
I prefer her rez shield.
It's not just the open field that's an issue with the rez. They literally get taken out in seconds before they have a chance to heal themselves unless you just so happen to be carrying the gold backpack.
Her rez can make a difference in arenas, but that's if the other team gives you a chance to do so, and anyone now days, knows better. You have a Lifeline on your team and you get knocked, you're getting eliminated shortly after.
But trying to pull of rezing two teammates in br? Forget it. I've done it only once but they just kept getting knocked again while I rezed the other teammate and took out the other team. That has been the only time I found the double rez worth it.
If the cover was so easily taken they why did they nerf it?
And no I'm sure there's plenty of people out there that doesn't know about the replicator. Even then it doesn't always work. I've seen people throw shields in there and get the same shield back.
