Honestly, loads of people (guessing they only played lifeline) were complaining that getting of the res shield is like getting rid of a one-trick pony's only trick, which I sort of understand but that is only because those players relied to heavily on that one trick. Probably because she didn't have much going for her anyway and that shield was pretty BS but now they finally tweaked the ult which was my biggest concern as far as buffs go. The ult actually is really good, giving gold stuff that is needed within your team and such.
My friend who plays * tons of lifeline says that sometimes no shield is actually better because your res is less visible and therefore technically more clutch if you think about it. She technically had an unbreakable shield with no cooldown that curved, basically gib but harder to hit and better. Now the res is still good as its automatic but forces a more skillful approach which I believe all balances should be based upon.
