P2020's and Charge Rifles on drop or no guns in entire buildings. Finding a decent optic is like winning the lottery. Plus, we have white backpacks and laser sights galore clogging up the loot pool. It has gotten absolutely ridiculous.

Constantly getting this. Land.. searching 4 bins - no weapons. Enemy at other side - every weapon they can find.
I tried to play yesterday morning for a short period... 4 matches in total. First three I died within 30 seconds due to no weapon found. One of those matches I opened 6 bins...6 bins! Found not a single weapon.
4th match my two team mates upon landing and a minute in are both spamming "I need a weapon" - they both left the game without being knocked. I just laughed and closed the app. My quick attempt to play Apex and have some casual fun in a nutshell Lol.

The first two weeks of this season seemed like the good old days. I got my perfect load out in four matches out of five and I wasn't still trying to cobble it together with only two squads left. Then everything changed like a switch was flipped and it all went right back to the desert it has been now for multiple seasons.
The "can't get a gun on drop" thing I have not a lot of sympathy for. If you don't want luck to be the decider then don't put yourself in luck's way.
But I've always said: the loot pool should be thin enough that it punishes hot droppers and it should be rich enough that a careful, methodical player can get a reasonable load out by the mid-game mark. As thin as it is now, I get to the halfway point in the game, I look at my load out, and sometimes I just plain quit. It's too easy to just walk away from a bad situation. Respawn, please stop thinking that if you tailor the game to the streamers and pros that the rest of us will just fall in line.
