- No, you get loss forgiveness only in case you are missing 1 or 2 teammates all together = get into the game alone or with just one teammate.
- Yes, it is known exploit for years, reported it myself with video evidence to Respawn multiple times (when I first started to see that e.g. people play normally but when things go south or they get killed / about to be killed they disconnect). In some forums I read that you need to initiate disconnection like in a short period of time and close the game so it tricks the game into not registering you being in the game at all or some stuff like that.
Basically people use that to have only positive / mostly positive RP games.
Some say it is getting banned but only with temp bans 7-14 days so they keep doing that anyway most of the time.
And unfortunately as with all current state of Apex ranked (ranked system, matchmaking, cheaters running around not in check) only people that suffer consequences are legit players...
Thus I quit Apex for the 6th time in last 2 years...this bs is unbearable after you have seen this stuff happen on daily basis, cheaters basically in 90%+ games above Diamond 4, in parallel messages from anti-cheat team of how good they have done and implemented new security feature backed up with tonns of e-mails from reported players saying "no fix, sorry we did not take action".
If the game wants just casuals and cheaters -> let them play vs eachother until first run out of money and second stop having sick fun from hacking. Some regions already showed what will happen, so does console ranked atm., I have a feeling that major changes are not far from today.
