Maggie's Ultimate vs Newcastle's Mobile Shield

The whole point of the gibby nerf was that he is the only legend with a literally infinite health all direction barrier. So they made an already niche character (gibby being like a turbo horizon in terms of usage previously, where only the highest tier would even consider him, now inverted because of this one change) hard countered by another niche character.

We don't need more maggie buffs against everyone with limited health limited direction barriers, we need to get gibby his usefulness back, preferably not in the form of an infinite health all direction barrier. I think a buffable gun shield (maybe use shield cells to buff its hp) would make him better for casuals.

Let me clear up...my comment was not to suggest a Maggie buff, but rather a Newcastle Mobile Shield nerf.

Although I partially agree with your comment about Gibby's infinite all around shield, that's what makes Gibby a defensive player in his own merit. If that's your argument then I guess we can say the same about Watson's infinite electric fences or Caustics gas traps. Keep in mind too, that Gibby's dome as well as his ultimate has considerable cooldown time, in addition to how slow he runs puts him in a disadvantage.

And I totally agree that we do not need another Maggie buff. I think she's already a bit to OP for this season.
