Major FPS Drops around Waterfall (Olympus above the PS5 Building)

Please either remove the waterfall with some catastrophe like you normally would or add an option to decrease the unnecessary effects that hinder gameplay, its incredibly frustrating to get that much intense lag around that area to the point that your character can’t even move... it seems like this would of been fixed by now

    Same here.  Although the map looks cool and all, they've added too much detail in unnecessary graphics.  Making the game less enjoyable to play if 1/4 of the map is making me stutter, especially in key moments.

    Here is a my setup:

    1070 GTX

    i5-4960K

    24GB RAM

    Win 10 Pro

    MSI Optix MAG274QRF (2560x1440)

    I can barely play this game on low settings now.

    If nothing is happening around me, I can get around 100fps, but as soon as multiple things are happening, my frames drop significantly, and even more noticeable in parts of the map where it becomes unplayable.

    I would love for Respawn to go back to simplistic designs.  Gameplay > Beautification

    @greygh05t You need cpu upgrade bro. I wasted 400$ on six core just to make apex dont stutter, and it still do.... Waterfall kills GPU, but everything else is on your cpu

    @Srksii They should at least add graphic settings to reduce the realistic effects of unnecessary objects that hinder gameplay I would rather the waterfall look like a blue wall and actually be able to play the game around it

    @TheApexLegendNub Yeah, I drop to all of 3 fps around it. My graphics card is super old, and definitely on the very minimum requirements - I've been trying to find an upgrade but it's a challenge man - but I can still play anywhere else on the map and any other map just fine. But around that waterfall or the one on the Party Crasher Arenas map I just drop to 5 fps and chug like a slideshow.

    It's unfortunate because while you can avoid the waterfall on Olympus, the one on the Party Crasher Arenas map is impossible to avoid, unless you just don't play that map, so it's a massive, massive disadvantage.
