Mischa1994 I can't hold myself not laughing when I hear people saying this in my words "make competitive FPS shooter less competitive"? :)
Maybe you can elaborate then what would be your goal in COMPETITIVE FPS SHOOTER?
What would be perfect lobbies / matchmaking for you?
How can game adapt say to even you yourself being on point one day / one game vs not giving F about it and just autopiloting through map the other day / next game? aka swing in skill level that happens instantly?
In my opinion this community suffers from FOMO = on the one hand players like you don't like to give effort, train and be competitive, on the other hand you want all the badges and rewards that are given to players WHO ACHIEVE RESULTS... aka generation "participation medals for all".
Game has created BOT lobbies = go get good, better.
Game has pubs mode = nothing to lose, even if you run into sweaty players just dc and go to the next game, switch servers, take a break come back later. Aka no pressure.
Game has additional those random event / mods (sorry don't play those, can't name them) = again nothing to lose, go get crazy...
Long story short stop feeding your FOMO or some other sort of Ego problem arguments that the game is the problem, no you are the problem. Accept this game for what it is, decide to play it or not and go with the flow.
If you want to see what hard FPS game = go to Valorant. I bet people like you there would go mad because competitive mode is even more competitive, time to kill is intant, in pubs you get matched with TOP ranked players (mostly hackers though) = basically there is no easy mode.
As alternative you could ask Respawn to create "easy mode" = if people tick a box of "easy mode" they get matched only with easy mode players yet not gain rewards or something that would differ it from ranked or regular pubs. I am ok with that.
