Make it possible to lock your deathbox from teammates! I want to keep my loot!

Hello,

As you know, when you die, you drop your deathbox and a player bannercard. Your teammates can pick that card up and try to respawn you at a respawn beacon. But sometimes the beacon is literally around the corner and you want to get your loot back as quickly as possible to get back into the fight with good gear, BUT it seems like your deathbox has been looted dry by your oh so nice teammates, only a Mozambique and a broken white shield remain... and if you're lucky, a few thermite grenades.

I suggest there will be an option to lock your deathbox from your teammates so you can prevent them from stealing your hard sought loot. Obviously it should also have an unlock function so that if there aren't any beacons available you can unlock it for your teammates so they can grab some health or shields from your box for example.

I'm honestly getting tired of teammates stealing my full gold gear, ammo and/or digital threats all the time. It's really frustrating and demotivates you to play on seriously. I think I'm not the only one being annoyed by this.

    In pubs sometimes but if you're dead and there's no way 4 you to get your loot back. I'm looting you.

    @JuicyPotat0Stop playing with randoms. LFG teammates rarely steal your loot. Unless you cannot make it back, then a lock would be harmful to your squad.. And most likely such a system would be buggy, no thanks.

    BUT, I would like to see a temporary lockout on killed loot boxes.  Say 20 seconds until your teammates can loot your kill.  Even LFG teammates will ninja stuff out of your kills.

    @JuicyPotat0 I bet you're the guy I did that to the other day 🙂 I don't agree with that at all! I was in the middle of a firefight the other day and my teammate went down right next to a beacon, so I went to grab his card, but since I was in the middle of a fight, I didn't respawn him, instead I replaced my broken white shields for his blue shields all the while he was yelling at me not to steal his stuff (my other teammate was also out, so I had to respawn him too). Because the remaining members of the opposing squad thought I had no shields, they rushed me (I say "remaining" because I'd already knocked one). I ended up wiping the squad and saving my teammate (the guy yelling at me quit when I stole his shields), which I wouldn't have been able to do if my idiot teammate had been able to lock his box. My teammate and I won that game (he died two more times during that game and I respawned him both times and both times his deathbox helped me win the firefight). I don't like having my stuff looted by my teammates, but I was the one who died and they have to respawn me.

    But you'd still have to wait for your useless, DEAD teammate to unlock their loot, and in a fight, that'd get ya killed.

    @JuicyPotat0 Nope would get people killed if they're trying to get your armor in a fight also if you're dead your stuff is fair game. being honest if someone had the nerve to lock me out they can leave cause i'm not reviving them.

    @JuicyPotat0 It's bad form to steal a teammate's stuff. The only time I do it is when I am out of health or shield batteries or ammo. It won't do anyone any good for me to make a dash for a beacon when I am one hit away from death.

    I feel health and shield cells are fair game, and ammo if you're out. I don't think a lock/unlock function would be a good addition because sometimes you have only seconds to get something like health or ammo, especially if the ring is closing in.

    Sometimes you have bad teammates, but hopefully they too will learn. I actually had one guy loot my gold armor, and when i came back he dropped it back for me, so that is another way to survive the fight *and* restore the gear to the rightful owner.
