There should be a feature where if you are downed and can physically see the person when you ping it will track the person so your teammates can see them. That will give it more of a real time experience and will stop people from constantly pinging. I do the same thing to let people know the direction of the way the player is going. But it's annoying because of the sounds and player voices.
Agreed, it’s highly annoying. My buddy has a policy. You spam the ping and your not getting revived.
