This is too long of a name and its quite distracting seeing a large text box move across the screen. (Neither player's username is this long on Origin, as these names don't even exist on Origin, but they do on Steam.)
Gibraltar's name is 31 characters, and Rampart's is 33 characters. That's honestly too long and unnecessary. If you have to make a username's text so small to fit the areas where names show, its too long.
It doesn't look like it, but the kill leader's name was a bit distracting. I keep the kill feed turned on, as it helps when 3rd partying other teams, as well as see how many are dying at one time. If you're going to let players have long names, please allow others to only see a shorten version of it, or show the EA account name.
Player names, either teammates or enemies, should NOT feel like they're taking up the whole screen, let alone block the middle area of your view in any way.
I feel like 16 or so should be the character limit, maybe 20 but nothing longer than that

All accounts should display an EA account name. (Which could also go a long way in helping with cross-progression, as that's something players have been asking for since launch). I was playing a match of Control, when I noticed that both of my teammates had the EXACT same username. At first, I had thought someone glitched the system into having their account in a match twice, but no, these are two different users and my guess is that one is on Steam, while the other one is on Origin.
Besides getting distracted by long names, having the same name is simply confusing to players. This shouldn't be a thing.
Due to the fourm's TOS, I removed 3 of the same letters from all instances of their name, but I left enough to show that they're indeed the same name.
