How do I get hit for no less than 150 with 2 shot and I can’t do more with 3 solid shots

@axel58king I had a clip where I shot a Wraith in the back when she was standing still from about 10 feet away. Only hit her for 57. Recreated the same shot in the firing range and was hitting for 110 each shot.
I shot twice. 57 and 53
Then a few days ago I got hit twice from a mastiff for 188. First shot did like 150
