Matchmaking is greatly unfair

Question

Matchmaking is a joke on apex.I have switched on to play apex the past few days as I always do ( solo queue ). Yet every single time I go on the teammates I play alongside are nowhere near my level or the opponents, I am getting upwards of 1000 damage on them every game and it is really getting frustrating not being able to win, as I am basically playing 3v1s as they die almost instantly, I never used to have much problems like this but the last few days have been really bad, tonight was a prime example, 3 games, 3 teammates who none breached the 1k damage mark, therefore should not be matched with me. I am not boasting cuz I am far from amazing at the game, I just want a fair level of teammates in relation to my skill level, because right now I am not getting it and it completely ruins the gaming experience. sort it out.

I used to think that this was Respawn's informal mentoring program, and I was getting all these novice players so they might have a chance, not just at winning, but at learning how to win more quickly than if they just got matched to other novice players. And I would even be okay with it, even with how often it happens, which is most of the time, IF ANY of these novice players had ANY willingness to try ANYTHING other than dropping THE SAME BUILDING in FRAGMENTS and just running around in circles until someone kills them. I would rather be matched to xp farmers who land in a corner of the map and afk until the circle kills them.

They will never change it.&nbsp;It is because it works on EOMM (engagement optimized matchmaking). You are not matched on skill but it combines a number of different factors, to try to increase overall engagement. This is why most of us have a good first game to keep us playing looking for that one win that gives you a good feeling.The more players play the more likely they are to spend money on coins that's how it works. That's all they care about. I encourage you to keep coming here and keep an eye on how many matchmaking posts you see. I've posted about it for over a year now and trust me they don't care one bit. I complained about me getting 1500 damage or 2k and my teammates would get 200. I even posted about me playing like 18 games in a row of just crap teams with very low damage. I took some time off from the game and of course the first game I get a win. I even joked with the random teammates I had about how Apex does this. Gives me a win and now I get crapped on because it just happened. 5 games of 100 plus damage teammates and the last game I just played before typing here I got 1500 plus damage on my own because my squad left me.Welcome to Apex&nbsp;

Has to be the worst matchmaking system out there. Having no matchmaking system at all would be better than this. For now you are set up to lose and I just can't see the logic behind it. How does it attract you to play more if you are put together with two lvl 30's against predators/20 kill badge players? Me being a rather average player and getting teammates who just have finished tutorials for 7 games in a row is just outrageous. As average player, I don't mind getting the predator as my opponents and being put together with people better than me. Seems unfair though for the people who have no clue how to play the game and having to fight the opponents with best rank. It even seems ridiculous watching the best twitch streamers playing pubs. With their K/D, they often get opponents who can't land a shot on them - what a matchmaking system.

@J19Y02What we need is for diamond and up players to NOT be allowed to drop into gold or below lobbies. They're too high skilled for it and anyone who makes a new account and destroys lower skilled lobbies, it should automatically shove them into higher lobbies so they're out of our faces.

Like, how am I suppose to win against this guy and his two smurphing teammates?
