Matchmaking needs to be fixed ASAP!

I agree 💯! I have been a consistent player since the end of season 1. I have been getting progressively worse over time, especially since cross play was introduced. I am middle of the bottom third when it comes to skill, by no means a pro. The last game I played, I was on a team and I had the most kills with on the team as Caustic with 3k approximately. The champion team had more than 150k! 😳 Needless to say, I had triple zero's dying before I could get a gun. The game is not fun and I refuse to support this game any longer. The cheating is extremely bad too. When someone can sniper you with an R301 from more than 150m, no scope, it's BS. I get it, I'm not a great Apex player, but I am a good gamer. I grew up with FPS style games and can hold my own. The match making is garbage. I don't even have 10k combined kills, and to match up against Career, basement dwelling, no life having players seems a bit much. NOT A FAN of the new season. Bring back Duos, fix the matchmaking, fix the cheating, and maybe I'll support Apex. I have no real power other than discouraging every person I know to stop playing the game. Petty perhaps, but because cheating is an option that people take advantage I can't trust that any match will be fair. That sucks!

just play in ranked and you won't see them.

sbmm in pubs is terrible.

@OnclePicsmurf Every mode needs a better matchmaking system and jumping into ranked doesn't solve any of the problems listed.

Like pubs, rank has:

- Unbalanced teams (example: two silvers and a bronze, (all newer players) VS a diamond and two plats, (players who had hit masters and/or pred before))

- Three stack diamonds to pred players that are clearly in a Discord call

- Tons of cheaters and smurfs

- Most of the players I end up going up against has the 20 kill and 4k damage badges, (basically pub's matchmaking set to 100)

In short: Rank's matchmaking feels like its pubs, but with ranks assigned to every player. A lot of players, (including myself), feels like there's no SBMM in the game because of this. You can do nothing all match, (besides ratting in a corner), and you'll still run into a higher skilled player in lower ranked lobbies. I'm constantly seeing pred Horizon/Octane/Pathfinder players running around with a rookie or bronze rank while I'm trying to rank out of silver or gold, (and its over a month into the season). This is to be expected, however these players tend to be cheating and boosting other players, so yeah... the matchmaking needs work.

nah i'm playing full pred lobbies in pubs while in ranked you play against bots until plat1 then you get into pred lobbies.
