Wildcard, on the other hand, doesn't have SBMM at all. If you're going in with a 3-stack of masters/preds, you're still going to kill most of the weaker players.

Playing solo? You're in a very bad situation, because in 90% of games, you're given weaker teammates and are slaughtered like a carpet in the first few minutes. In Wildcard, I even get teammates who loot the entire game and refuse to fight. What's this supposed to mean?

Instead of improving matchmaking, Respawn decided it was more important to introduce a snowboard so players could fly and jump even more. Well, some people have other priorities. They're well aware of the problem and know they won't do anything about it because fewer and fewer people are playing Apex. That's why platinum players now regularly play in the master/pred lobby. And they're afraid to separate them, because streamers will cry because they've been waiting 5 or 10 minutes for a match. They're only doing it for the pros and streamers, remember.

Just like it's been proven that you get more kills with a controller than on MnK. So what? Have they evened out the balance between controller and MnK? No, and they won't.

Just as MnK should have been separated from controllers, a platinum player should never have been allowed to play with master/pred. Well, Respawn ruined that game, so we're left reading threads like this.

I continued to enjoy this game despite the prevalence of cheating and smurfing, as those are external factors. This was because these were external factors, and the game itself remained inherently appealing.

However, internal factors—such as the ever-escalating power creep since the introduction of "blink" skills and flawed matchmaking—have compromised the game's original appeal.

I no longer find enjoyment in the experience; I log in solely to prevent skill degradation. Consequently, my playtime is decreasing.
