Megathread: World's Edge map feedback at launch
The new map is the worst map i ever seen in a AAA game. Please, allow the players to play in the old map.

I think so too.New map has not enough object to cover. Therefore, Charge rifle is op now.

Community ManagerI know a lot of you might be jumping into Shadowfall right now, but curious if all your original thoughts around World's Edge remain the same, specifically how loot is spread out and overall coverage.

Honestly was hoping King's Canyon would have a regular mode in addition to Shadowfall.
Apples to oranges comparison.- @EA_Blueberry Loot feels better but map stills being the same boring. I really force myself to play it but i can't stand longer than 4 games cause I miss all the fast action of king's canyon.
Also want to mention that my average kill ratio is 4-5 enemies and in kings canyon was like 7-9 enemies... As a lot of players MANY of the games i have won this season didn't felt exciteing at all ☹️
Miss kings canyon so bad, hope you do something soon ☹️ The new map is okay but I do feel that we should have the option of which map to play on. I also believe that if we had that option World's Edge would be empty. I already have to jump around to different servers to find enough players to play ranked after midnight up until about 10am and if we had the option of which map to play on I doubt I would find a full game for World's Edge Ranked before noon.
The problem I have with World's Edge is the size and lack of loot. I know where some decent loot locations are and I haven't figured out the entire map in terms of where good loot is in each area so I often find myself dropping into a location, looting an entire building and praying to find something other than a mozambique or P2020 and also praying to find T1 shields. I rarely find decent equipment even after I've cleared 3-4 floors of a building by myself.
The charge rifle is a very annoying weapon. It can be used at any range and has no damage falloff. Other energy weapons take time to fire and/or are effected by gravity. The charge rifle desperately needs changes.
The layout of the buildings feel awkward. I frequently find myself searching for doors and on numerous occasions my team ends up getting surprised by a squad and I tell them I'm on the way and then I can't find a door to get out. They go down and then I find a way out and suddenly I'm in a 3v1 scenario.
If I could go back to King's Canyon I would. World's Edge has potential but in its current state I don't like it.
- @EA_Blueberry Still loving WE. More even, now this I’ve fully vetted all areas. Don’t get me wrong, KC was a good map. A really good map. But WE is just better. Capital City alone is a higher quality battle area than anything KC has to offer.
Playing the night mode is great, but it reminds me that in KC, the ring is irrelevant.
