another approach to this could be making his outline while invisible less noticeable like the very slight blurring that halo 3 had. He is after all, made to specifically sneak around the battlefield unnoticed. that is the entire point of his abilities, to trick the enemy into looking one way and sneak around the other and catch them off guard. his invisibility is too easy to spot right now which prevents him from performing his roll effectively.
Some may argue that Wraith is too easy to see too, but to that i say nay, she is meant to be seen. you are fully immune to all damage while in that form. it is meant to avoid damage and relocate out of bad situation. her roll is relocation hence the portal and the speed buff you get when you go into the void.
Yep that’s exactly right. Wraith can’t be hit so she’s visible. Mirage can be hit and is pretty noticible even tho he’s supposed to be invisible.
if he was as invisible as Sombra from overwatch is during that time it would be alright considering he cant fire again until he’s visible.

Having an awesome time right now with Mirage but his ultimate seems a little lacking. I know I'm supposed to be invisible as I trigger Mirage's ultimate (mostly in "oh sh*t" moments) but it seems like the enemy teams always adjust and shoot me down and I can't get away.
It would also be nice if his dupes did other things instead of just standing there, if only for a second to take the enemy's focus away.
I have never used Mirage's ult and survived. He needs to be complete invisible when he ults, or able to shoot. The enemy clearly has not problem seeing you.
