If you have a lot of stuff unlocked you will be just getting metals, I have i think atleast 50% - 75% unlocked and keep getting 2/3 metals in every Apex Pack, so it kind of already works like that.
- That's all well and good but most people don't have 50-75% of everything unlocked so for those who have what's likely to be less than 5%, it would be hugely beneficial.
- I would also just like to point out that after you reach level 100, you don't acquire more packs, meaning you only get 40 or so and then your out. at that rate you are only going to get one legendary and like 10 epics. if those are all refunded, that equates to I believe 2600 crafting metals. or 2 legendary items. I think this is great for the free to plays.
I'm level 64 and only have a small fraction of cosmetic "stuff" unlocked. I refuse to pay for my own vanity, just for cosmetic(my vanity is not that high), I want executions that the enemy "feels". I loved it in Titian fall 2. I still get regular cosmetic junk with only 650 crafting metal.
