As a Valk main I feel useless when playing with a Sparrow on my team and fighting them is just the worst. I think adding jump packs and wall running to every character would help the balance by reducing Ash and Sparrow's overwhelming mobility advantages, and nerf his ult to only do shield damage rather than pure damage, it's way too busted when the enemy cracks your shield and immediately follows up with an invincible arrow that damages you for 25 points a second or every 2 seconds or whatever it is through walls and cover, slows you down, and a dart that can track you if it spots you and the only way to stop the spot is trying to cover 25m or whatever its range is in 2.5 seconds. Also, please buff Valk's tac to do 50-75 damage instead of 25 or no damage but it completely disables shields for the same duration as the stun (which is only like 3-5 seconds I believe but I can't find any official numbers stating stun time) and balance it by making it take another 15-30 secs to charge making it tied with or outright the longest charge time on a tac, which is needed since evac towers are now a dime a dozen appearing in like a third of the loot crates making her ult fairly useless.
Everyone wants to buff their main character with such a broken meta like Ash/Ballistic/Alter/Sparrow + Wattson (after huge buffs).
It's just a shame that so few people see that this will ruin the game (if it hasn't already).
We (developers in general) should focus on removing huge upgrades from the character meta.
The game already makes no sense and is very boring... You search for weapons and upgrades for a minute and suddenly half of the squads have been killed. The game lasts much shorter than before s24/25. TTK is one thing, but this hugely broken legends meta destroys the whole point of this game.
They are the ones who need to be razed to the ground. Let's not add 20 upgrades to each legend... This game is already very chaotic, and what will happen later?
Double jumps or dashes - this is one big mistake and should never happen in this game.
It would be best to erase the entire season 24 and 25 from memory like the ranked mode from s17, which should never have happened.
I can say with full conviction that we have the 3 worst seasons in this game in a row. First the terrible support meta in s23, then dashes, double jumps, devo, p2020, snares, q ballistic, you can't move, you can't shoot, you can't run away...
Only Vantage has been optimally buffed and is fine. All other previous character buffs were simply broken for the entire game.
Something awful. I'm not surprised that some great streamers or pro players left Apex for these reasons, among others.
Although I expect Respawn and EA to continue to hold back and continue to hurt this game in s26. I don't expect anything good anymore, but I'd like to be positively surprised.

I totally get what you’re saying, my response to it is that if they aren’t going to revert these absurd buffs then they need to find a way to diminish this power creep. Which is done by balancing out the movement abilities across the board by bringing old Legends up to par or providing significantly more counters. Wattsons fences being a great example now of removing those jump/dash charges (they just need to add that to Catalyst’s spike strips too).
No one likes to see their favorite legend fall to the bottom of the list, but when you have these new legends coming out with a tactical, an ultimate, a passive that grants extra abilities and their class perks it just becomes too much. I get trying to make new legends appealing, but Sparrow has 3 different passives (Bocek bonus, remote scan with tactical that grants EVO and wall jump/vertical jump) and other legends have 1… it’s just absurd.
Also: leave new Legends out of Competitive for their first season.
