- @hhnbbfggty66 We don't need a meta - If this new hopup was adjusted slightly it would be like everything else: good players use the guns they get for how they're intended and there's very little that isn't competitive. Currently - I use the RE-45/P2020 every game if I can, because I dont want to meet someone else using them and not at least be in a fair fight.
Its okay? Is it okay when you dont get an alternator in ranked which most people shoot accuratly? It is better if you give them a kill switch to eliminate you! The game turned into this; If your team has 2 alternator + hop ups go kill everyone, if your team doesnt have alternator +hop up, hide and wait for placement rank points.
Even if you encounter a person who has worst aim can get 3 bullets on your chest and your armor is broken which can be a win for them. I dont really get this hop up thing, it ruined the ranked mode for me.
Alternator with the hop up is definitely OP right now. Not a balanced weapon at all. It should not be able to out shoot 301 or 99 when I'm hitting all my shots not to mention it has the same damage despite the range. I'm not mad at the hop up I just think it needs to be balanced slightly and maybe be found less. Great add to the game that makes you have to play smart.
Well I have been slautering people that use disruptor rounds all day.
I have met many people that dont care to pick them up.
Intially i thought the the r99 was obsolete to the alternator with disruptor rounds, until I dueled someone that was using an r99 while I was using the alternator with disruptor rounds.
The r99 player melted me as always. The alternator firerate is still to low to compete with the r99, r301, havoc.
While using the flatline I have crushed many disruptor round users.
It dosent matter what you're running but how you use it.
- @hhnbbfggty66 Inless your going against the same person your point in invalid because you could be going against someone that's isnt very good and beating them with a r99 cause I say with confidence that you will not beat someone with the alt and new hopup with a r99. Ived died to the alt while using a r99 with purple armor and the other person only had blue and I didnt even break his armor before i died
- @Bleftop I think it's finally balanced you still need to find the attachment for it to be useable, maybe a 2-4 decrease damage points for attachment but nothing more then that it's actually useable now just like R-99
its not what you run but how you use it.
- @Darker_Souls343 rarity shouldn't be considered a valid mitigator for something being OP. If it's OP - it needs to be brought back into line with the feeling of the rest of the games features otherwise everything becomes a race to get the OP thing, just so you don't run into someone else with it.
Something being OP like this is a novelty and good when used well in games which aren't ultra competitive. Think the golden gun in golden-eye on N64. In a setting where if your mates take the * and start spoiling the fun you can tell them "Knock it off with the golden gun now, lets play for a bit" - fine. If you'd been playing with 59 strangers from the internet, at best 2 or 3 would listen and the rest would be going to get the 1shot weapon because even if 58 of the other players wanted to play fair - you're giving the game away to that 1 guy who won't listen.
I run Disruptor every game I can because I don't want to meet someone else who has it. The TTK is lowest with disruptor rounds.
