Nerf Energy Weapons!
Insta dead with golden armor when fighting against Devotion???
Reduce the damage dealt by energy weapons, increase the bullet capacity to 80 and increase the ammo finding to 1:1:1 ratio for all typ...
Leave the energy weapons alone they are quite balanced. They take time to charge and have significant recoil. It is not the gune but the good players that are killing you with energy weapons.
I will pick up a Havok if I find one and don't have anything better but if I don't find a turbocharger and I see a Spitfire I will drop a Havox for the Spitfire.
If you spray and pray with a Devotion your not killing anyone because your not landing 80% of your rounds.
Devotion is fine. It has a long charge up time and its damage per shot is relatively low, it just burns through ammo super fast. Very hard to sustain, which is why you virtually never see anyone using it after the first 3 minutes of a match.
Havoc does feel a bit too powerful right now imo, because it has far less charge up time than devotion, deals high damage per shot and on top of that they gave it the largest magazine of all assault rifles, without even needing to pick up an extended mag for it.
But there's absolutely no "spray and pray". If you want to kill people with these things you have to aim just like with every other weapon. If you're just "spraying" you'll miss most of your shots and deal barely any damage. If anything, because of the charge-up time, these weapons are less noob friendly than others, not more.
Havoc is a spray and pray gun. You can jump around with it spraying and you will still hit shots. That gun is overpowered for close and mid range . Its only weak on long range but. It needs a damage nerf and seperate magazine to upgrade the clip size like all other guns
One 44 round mag with the devo does 750 DAMAGE. Early game, you can wipe an entire squad with one mag. Doesn't that sound a bit powerful?
Oh yeah lets not lie. The havoc and especially devotion can melt whole teams early game. Insanely powerful. How useful are the energy weapons for mid game and late game? Most of our loot is gotten from the players we kill so how likely do you think it is to find devotion ammo mid or late game? What value do you think a devotion will have if you somehow take away its few strengths?
Most people complain about something they dislike while holding on to logical reasons why something might be unbalanced without considering the whole picture. I'm fine with weakening the devotion and havoc if you can give them something to keep them viable in the game. Someone suggested allowing the Havoc to use both select fire and turbo charger together. Even if you knocked back the havoc's ammo to 20 this combination seems strong. A fully kit havoc could be a high damage single shot weapon at a distance or a gun that can melt you at close range if you get select fire, turbo charger, and energy extended mags.
Gimping the ammo but increasing its attachment options seems like a fair way to balance one of the weapons at least.

energy weapons aren't harder to control than any other weapon, and the charge up takes literally a second. I spray with energy weapons and get stupid kills that I shouldn't have got. If a player has enough brain power to expect where the enemy will pop out then they could just prefire which basically nagates the point of the charge up. Idk why people think the charge up and recoil is a good excuse to have such stupid dps. Nerf either fire rate or damage and boom, balanced.
