I completely agree with this post. This gun needs at least the damage drop depending on distance fired, like 75% damage past 100 meters and 50% past 150-200 meters, otherwise its almost unplayable when the enemy team blast you from the other side of the map. It just ruins so many aspects of the game, like scouting for example. You managed to check and secure the area, ambush the enemy squad, and when you win - you instantly die to some random charge rifle shot from a rooftop of a different zone so far away you cant even see the dot on the screen that killed you. There's no counter play to that, and no, you can't just hide and flank the enemy. They had a first lethal shot on you and the laser charges so fast you won't be able to close the distance in open areas even only 10 meters long (like from one building to another) without being hit at least once. And the only way to snipe them back is if you have your own charge rifle, which is another aspect that is ruined by this gun - weapon diversity, so you absolutely must have at least one such rifle in your squad to put counter pressure on the enemy snipers, cause other sniper rifles wont work here - add your aim time to bullet travel time, and the enemy has already had 1 full shot on you with a charge rifle AND has time left to dodge your bullet by strafing into cover.
