Nerf the micro-transactions

It doesn't make sense. The purchase for any of these limited time cosmetics is outrageous. Why would you even have an event that you can only pay money for? What about people who love the game and don't want to spend money? What about newpnew who want to come in and see that EA wants $10 for a random epic or legendary cosmetic that is limited time. They're pretty cool skins, but I just don't understand why they would do this. I love apex, but this kinda thing gets on my nerves

I only refer to the cosmetics in my original post and that the price should be reduced. It's outrageous and torture for your wallet. EA need to step up their game, I'm sure everybody's had enough of their micro-transaction business.

They really do need to change the way they do micro-transactions. It's not fun seeing people who have butt loads of money when you've been grinding trying to complete other in game things. It's def not play to win but when you see a cool skin like that it, it would make sense that people who actually play the game get it too without having to buy

They don't understand good business tactics, you make the prices lower like you suggested, makes people buy them more cause it's super cheap, thus making more money than just saying eff you buy all this crap for 20 bucks a piece and then oh you want the cool shiny hairloom?! Then give up 250 bucks! Like these guys are insane

Come on Apex: you're better than this! These prices are reasonable to both the players and developers:

Legendary Skin: 1000 Apex Coins

Collection Event Apex Pack: 400 Apex Coins

Get an Heirloom every 250 Apex Packs: they're not worth $500

I mean, just nerf the micro-transactions somewhere in between a minor and moderate amount. EA make my favourite games and I don't want them to have a reputation as a micro-transaction loving company like Activision.

That AND not everybody can afford these ridiculous prices.

Yeah. I logged on and was excited to play my first event, then I started reading into it more and holy microtransactions, Batman. 

Don't get me wrong, I understand this is a F2P game, but really? Hundreds of dollars to get some Epic and Legendary items? That is insane

And, there really is no free way to earn them. Apex Coins cost money, the packs cost money and even crafting materials technically cost money, because the packs they come from eventually "run out", when you hit a certain level. At least without paying for them. And, even the crafting materials you get from battle passes cost you money at some point.

This is ridiculous. 

Don't get me wrong, I have no issue spending money on a F2P title, but again, hundreds of dollars for items in one event is ridiculous. And a single Epic should not cost $10 (1,000 coins) nor should a single Legendary cost $18 (1,8000 coins)

Again, don't get me wrong, I don't mind spending money, but the prices should be reasonable.

And, honestly, I find the title "collection" event, to be a bit misleading. It's not collecting, it's buying stuff. The only one "collecting" anything is EA "collecting" money from people's wallets.

It's like they purposefully make them good and charge them for dumb prices.

Honestly, I thought the Event was going to be similar to how OverWatch does them. The event is limited time, usually comes with a limited time game mode, And there's New cosmetics, all of which can be earned in game. There is of course Loot Boxes you can buy to help get them faster. Which, I have bought in the past.

This i didn't have a huge problem with. And even when OverWatch sells skins, usually the epics are $5 and the legendaries are $10. Again, fine.

But for Apex to offer ZERO free boxes to get these items and either expect to spend a fortune on Packs or coins, is ridiculous. Like I said, someone pointed it out that it's over $200 to get everything in both Event tabs. That is insane.

Honestly, to offer no Event packs for playing, and either expect you to spend a small fortune on said packs, or coins, in general, is crazy. Again, over $200 for one event, if you want everything. And, even if you only want an Epic or Legendary, those are $10 and $18, respectively. What a rip off.

Now, I will say this again, just so people understand:

I have no issue with a F2P title wanting people to spend money, and have happily spent money on past titles, myself, over the years.

But, these prices should be reasonable. 

$10 to $18 for a single item is NOT reasonable. OVER $200 to get everything in ONE event is NOT reasonable. What those prices ARE is highway robbery. Plain and simple

Yeah i like the comparision to Overwatch. There you get lootboxes EVERY TIME you level up, there is no limit in levels, and you get WAY MORE of the Coins to buy skins (that also look way cooler in a lot of Cases but thats not the point). In Apex there is so much grinding to get ONE LEGENDARY SKIN. I would really appreaciate to just have a guaranteed chance to a Heirloom if you are max level, so pls give us 500 Lootboxes for 500 levels. Why do i have to pay A LOT of Money once i finished levelling, just to get some stuff. So with this, whats my Motivation to play once im lvl 500. Just for the stats? I like to Collect things and i know you want to keep those heirlooms rare but then just increase lvl maximum so grinding gets rewarded.

So please change that system.
