NERF WINGMAN
Revert back to Season 4 Wingman. This gun is too OP (already OP since season 4 but this too much OP)...With skullpiercer or without.
Ah yes, that just proves everything, doesn't it? "I beat a devotion user with windup time using wingman, must be OP". Your logic is flawless xD
Yep. And I used R99 as an example as it is a relatively easy to find gun, now how many Devotions do you find in a game hmm? Also, devotion is prime noob bait, no decent to good player would keep a windup weapon. Another FACT right there.. Wingman actually has one of the lowest DPS per weapons in the game, yet another fact. Go look up a weapon DPS chart, educate yourself a bit and you'll find that wingman in it's state before this season ranked 3rd from the bottom, right after mozambique and p2020 and seeing how no changes to body shots was made, or faster shooting time, it will still keep that rank. Yet another FACT.
Towards the final squads of a game, I do find quite a few devotions (or Krabers) usually. That can be felt under circumstances such as our entire squad quickly dying, or me going one-shotted with red evo armor. Although thanks for asking, kinda gives me the opportunity to strengthen my statement. Despite the wind-up time, Devotions is a high DPS weapon with which I have scored quite a few kills. Could probably joke about it again and say that's a fact, but I have standards. Wingman does not have a high DPS. Very true. Unlike weapons such as R-99 or Devotion (or R-301, Flatline or Spitfire), it's a mid-speed, high damage weapon allowing for peeking and quick burst fires. In other words, you barely give your enemy enough time to deal any kind of considerable damage. And if you perform such from a good distance away, you can even completely take out the whole enemy squad without taking any damage.
I was able in my last match to two-shot people. With the new attachment that's now possible up to purple armor if they don't have a good helmet. And yes, that is a very powerful trait of a weapon. I don't need high DPS if two shots are enough. All I need is good timing and aiming, and then I can down people without getting damaged myself.
Although I can fully understand your statement about high DPS and spraying people with bullets. It's the easiest way to score kills.
