New feature which needs to go

The majority of the new features are cool and flashy and add lots to the game. There is one which I just discovered which should not be part of the game though, especially on console due to muscle memory.

The feature I'm referring to is the return to lobby button once you die.

When you die, it tells you to wait to be revived, but, you can now exit the match just by pressing B, or circle (console), when before it was harder. This has made it too easy to just quit the match once you're dead, and even to the point where some people may quit accedently as they have the muscle memory of tapping the twi buttons to leave once their squad is dead.

The return to lobby should be left as it was before, pause > leave.

    Thank you for the feedback on exiting back to the lobby. Some players in this post were actually on the opposite side thinking there were too many buttons to click to exit back to the lobby. We'll continue to monitor community feedback on the game's UI. If you have any other thoughts on improving it please let us know!

    Yup did this twice by accident today playing with friends.

    Plus it just facilitates quicker rage quitting for those who are inclined to do this.

    @EA_Blueberry That old thread has nothing to do with what OP explains here. This is from the latest patch that came with crown event. When you die but your teammates still can respawn you, you only need to press O and X (ps4) to quit the game prematurely. Before you had to press option and confirm to leave (which you shouldn’t do because the game is not over). Now it’s just so extremely easy to quit even by mistake. Needs to be fixed ASAP!

    In @EA_Blueberry defence, it's the subsequent posts that refer to what he has stated as opposed to the OP( which had some brilliant feedback about the UI in general so worth a read).

    However i don't think removing the prompt to leave a match has streamlined the process all that much. Also sending us straight to spectate and allowing us to manually switch to the death feed rather than the reverse would help minimize any accidental leaving of matches. 👍
