New Legend Idea
Oldie but a goodie: we all want to see a character with a better melee.
Check old legends ideas and you see ideas for ninjas, werewolves, baseball bat wielders and more. But what with universal heirlooms it can't be the weapon that makes them deal more damage meleeing.
Have I got a solution: a legend, who has two additional (but mechanical) arms. Now stay with me, I have my reasons. Several legends have more wacky concepts, and I'm sure if we can make a dimension hopping scorpion legend fit, a legend with an extra set of arms made of metal can work. His metal arms swing harder than the usual legend, hitting twice with one button press. Once with heirloom and once with metal fist, both at the same time. That's his passive. His tactical lets him make shields on both sides of him out of those arms, fully protecting his sides but significantly slowing his ability to turn around. He can cancel these side shields at any time, and they break after taking 100 damage. His ultimate sees him wielding literal finger guns from those arms, which automatically target enemies in his view and deal around 30 damage per second through mining lasers (more on this later.) They can be dodged if the enemy is moving fast enough. His backstory is that he comes from a planet of mining workers, who use these arms to excavate areas they otherwise couldn't reach, and laser through tough materials to get to precious ore. He came to the Apex Games to escape a life in the mines and to use his arms for all he imagined they could be. He would be a middle aged ish legend, who would make lots of rock and geology puns. He would have special quips with Mirage, Newcastle, and Conduit.

I'm considering pursuing game design but am unsure if I should so let me know if this or any of my other ideas are good enough to get my foot in the door.
