Forum Discussion
The funny thing is... these forums have been full up for YEARS now with people asking for better anti-cheat and better matchmaking and an end to mixed lobbies. I honestly can't recall a single poster in the last six years saying, "This game is too slow. Please speed up the pace of the mechanics in this game." Not one. Well, maybe one or two. I just assumed they were insane. Turns out they're in charge. Crazy world.
Creators who say "we started listening to you" don't know who they mean, because certainly not the people who write on the forum.
If these are not their internal changes, then the only place where they can get these crazy ideas is from the biggest teams and streamers. There is only one problem - 99.9% of people are not in this group and such crazy and ill-considered changes often have the opposite effect than intended.
There is clearly no one there who will think about something or test it before implementing it. Lately I've been feeling like some sort of beta tester. I have to play for 2 weeks with crazy Ash, who only gets nerfs after that time, because it turns out that we were right... Shock. Really? Seriously - this Ash will probably need to be nerfed anyway, because she is still strong, not that strong, but still too strong than the others.
Instead of starting with the most important things, i.e. anti-cheat and technical problems with reg hit and weak servers, we get the best legend in this game who will blow everyone away for the next 3 months. With all due respect, Ash is one of the last characters who needed any reinforcements. There are many other legends that need fleshing out. Do you have 15-year-olds on the development team there, or what is this about?
Technically correct your game and, above all, start with security, and then introduce so many ill-considered solutions for the gameplay itself... When will you finally understand this? Are you going to give it to us for Apex Legends 2.0, and until then we have to struggle with the technical side of your game?

15 year olds on the dev team...
I seriously howled at that! Genius. Reminded me of that SNL sketch years ago where the director of "Game of Thrones" turned out to by a teenager who responded to everything with "dragons and **bleep**." That's who's running this game now.

Unfortunately, it's all laughter through tears. :D
